South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival Donates $40,000 to Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation

The annual South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival donated $40,000 to Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation (DCWAF) to support 16 children’s charities in Northwest Florida on Aug. 31, 2023. The charity wine festival, founded by Chan Cox of Wine World, designates DCWAF as the sole recipient of the net proceeds of the event and has donated $223,000 to the organization since 2013. More than 5,500 people attended the 2023 festival.

Fall Lawn Games on the Green

Emerald Coast Theatre Company: Million Dollar Quartet

This smash-hit musical explodes on stage with a monumental night of rock ‘n’ roll, recounting the story of legendary music icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins as they come together on December 4, 1956 in the most famous jam session in recording history!  Featuring 21 timeless hits, including “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Sixteen Tons,” and “Great Balls of Fire.”

Hosted by Grand Fitness, Wellness Wednesday is a complimentary fitness class that takes place every Wednesday morning at 8:15 AM and afternoon at 5:00 PM, from Oct. 5th – Oct. 25th in Grand Park at Grand Boulevard. Best of the Emerald Coast Winner’s Soirée

Local businesses serve up BBQ samplers to compete for “Best BBQ” as voted on by attending guests who will enjoy all you can eat BBQ, drinks, a silent auction and live music. This is a ticketed event.

Coastal White Christmas Celebration & Hometown Parade

Join us for an old-fashioned holiday parade down the Boulevard culminating in the park with holiday music and the lighting of the Grand Boulevard Christmas Tree. It was the best of weather, it was the worst of weather, but it all worked out in the end. The four-day extravaganza known as the South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival shined brightly, despite a thunderstorm that delayed the start of Saturday’s grand tasting.

Grand Boulevard is honored to receive Visit South Walton’s Perfect in Walton County Awards in two categories! Grand Boulevard Town Center won the Diamond Award (1st place) for the Best Shopping Area, and the Platinum Award (2nd place) for Best Event, the South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival.

Additionally, several tenants at Grand Boulevard received awards. Congratulations to Black Bear Bread Co, Vin’tij, The Craft Bar, and The Wine Bar for wining awards in their respective categories.

SoWalWine Festival: Perfect in Walton County Award Winner!

The South Walton Beaches Food & Wine Festival has been chosen as one of the top 3 winners in the Best Event category of the 2023 Perfect in Walton County Awards! The Perfect in South Walton Awards give locals and visitors a chance to shine a spotlight on their South Walton favorites. This year’s awards presentation took place on January 26th, 2023.

Ohana Day School to Open Second Location in Grand Boulevard

South Walton’s premier day school is now taking applications for its second location, opening in the Town Center of Grand Boulevard at Sandestin, Summer 2023. Ohana Day School, fully licensed and accredited, was established in 2020 in Inlet Beach, Fla., to deliver an exceptional model for early education. The name “Ohana” means family in Hawaiian.
