South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival Donates $40,000 to Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation

The annual South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival donated $40,000 to Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation (DCWAF) to support 16 children’s charities in Northwest Florida on Aug. 31, 2023. The charity wine festival, founded by Chan Cox of Wine World, designates DCWAF as the sole recipient of the net proceeds of the event and has donated $223,000 to the organization since 2013. More than 5,500 people attended the 2023 festival.

Fall Lawn Games on the Green

Grand Boulevard invites you to bring the entire family out to enjoy some fun in the sun! Lawn Games will take over Fridays & Saturdays in Grand Park. Grab some food and drinks from one of the many restaurants in Grand Boulevard before you settle in to a fun round of corn hole, giant lawn chess and more.

Emerald Coast Theatre Company: Million Dollar Quartet

This smash-hit musical explodes on stage with a monumental night of rock ‘n’ roll, recounting the story of legendary music icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins as they come together on December 4, 1956 in the most famous jam session in recording history!  Featuring 21 timeless hits, including “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Sixteen Tons,” and “Great Balls of Fire.”

Wellness Wednesdays

Hosted by Grand Fitness, Wellness Wednesday is a complimentary fitness class that takes place every Wednesday morning at 8:15 AM and afternoon at 5:00 PM, from Oct. 5th – Oct. 25th in Grand Park at Grand Boulevard. It’s the perfect way to kick-start your mid-week while focusing on your overall wellness before the holiday glut.

CVHN Benefit Concert

“Sounds with Soul” – A benefit concert sponsored by Grand Boulevard and Tommy Bahama Restaurant, featuring music by The Tip Tops. Join us in Grand Park as we “shout it from the Tip Tops” to support Children’s Volunteer Health Network. This concert is free and open to the public.

Best of the Emerald Coast Winner’s Soirée

Celebrate the winners of the 25th Annual Best of the Emerald Coast Awards, as voted by the readers of Emerald Coast Magazine. 30A BBQ Festival

The 30A BBQ Festival at Grand Boulevard is a family-friendly, public fundraising event for the non-profit organization, The Sonder Project. Local businesses serve up BBQ samplers to compete for “Best BBQ” as voted on by attending guests who will enjoy all you can eat BBQ, drinks, a silent auction and live music. This is a ticketed event.

Coastal White Christmas Celebration & Hometown Parade

Join us for an old-fashioned holiday parade down the Boulevard culminating in the park with holiday music and the lighting of the Grand Boulevard Christmas Tree. Parade begins at 5pm and concludes with a visit from Santa! Great opportunity to get your family holiday photo with Old Saint Nick. Bring an unwrapped gift to support our local toy drive.

Festival of Trees kicks-off with 12 local charities decorating their assigned trees and competing to win cash prizes. Stroll the Boulevard on November 21st to take in the festive sights and vote for your favorite tree! The trees remain on display in Grand Park through Christmas for the public to enjoy!

First new GM in 16 years looks forward to new role at popular Town Center

Grand Boulevard at Sandestin® is happy to announce Andrew “Andy” Peach as the new General Manager of the popular Town Center. Peach will assume oversight of all operations at the 52-acre property. He is a senior retail real estate professional experienced in managing and leasing upscale shopping centers, including mixed-use assets. He has been with retail centers in South Florida, Highland Park, TX and South Carolina. He was Senior General Manager for the Shops at Merrick Park, Coral Gables, Florida – a luxury asset anchored by Nieman Marcus with high-end retail, dining/entertainment, fitness, office, and residences.

It was the best of weather, it was the worst of weather, but it all worked out in the end. The four-day extravaganza known as the South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival shined brightly, despite a thunderstorm that delayed the start of Saturday’s grand tasting.

Perfect in South Walton Awards Winners

Grand Boulevard is honored to receive Visit South Walton’s Perfect in Walton County Awards in two categories! Grand Boulevard Town Center won the Diamond Award (1st place) for the Best Shopping Area, and the Platinum Award (2nd place) for Best Event, the South Walton Beaches Wine & Food Festival.

Additionally, several tenants at Grand Boulevard received awards. Congratulations to Black Bear Bread Co, Vin’tij, The Craft Bar, and The Wine Bar for wining awards in their respective categories.

We are so proud of our tenants, our work at the center, and our wonderful annual events that take place at the Boulevard. Thank you to all who contribute and make Grand Boulevard so special!

SoWalWine Festival: Perfect in Walton County Award Winner!

The South Walton Beaches Food & Wine Festival has been chosen as one of the top 3 winners in the Best Event category of the 2023 Perfect in Walton County Awards! The Perfect in South Walton Awards give locals and visitors a chance to shine a spotlight on their South Walton favorites. This year’s awards presentation took place on January 26th, 2023.

Ohana Day School to Open Second Location in Grand Boulevard

South Walton’s premier day school is now taking applications for its second location, opening in the Town Center of Grand Boulevard at Sandestin, Summer 2023. Ohana Day School, fully licensed and accredited, was established in 2020 in Inlet Beach, Fla., to deliver an exceptional model for early education. The name “Ohana” means family in Hawaiian.
